(2 volte)

O Bambino mio divino, io ti vedo qui tremar;

o Dio beato! Ah quanto ti costò l'avermi amato! (2 volte)

mancano panni e foco, o mio Signore. (2 volte)

Caro eletto pargoletto, quanto questa povertà

più m'innamora, giacché ti fece amor povero ancora. (2 volte)

(2 volte)

Sposo mio, amato Dio,

mio Gesù, t'intendo sì! Ah, mio Signore!

(2 volte)

5. Tu piangi per vederti da me ingrato

dopo sì grande amor, sì poco amato!

O diletto - del mio petto,

se già un tempo fu così, or te sol bramo

Caro non pianger più, ch'io t'amo e t'amo (2 volte)

Deh, mio bello e puro Agnello

a che pensi? dimmi tu. O amore immenso,

(2 volte)

7. Dunque a morire per me, tu pensi, o Dio

amalo tu per me, s'io nol so amare! (2 volte)

pargol divin,
mite Agnello redentor,
tu che i vati da lungi sognar,
tu che angeliche voci annunziar
luce dona alle menti,
pace infondi nei cuor.

Astro del ciel,
pargol divin,
mite agnello redentor,
tu disceso a scontare l'error,
tu sol nato a parlare d'amor,
luce dona alle menti,
pace infondi nei cuor.

Astro del ciel,
pargol divin,
mite agnello redentor,
tu di stirpe regale decor
tu virgineo, mistico fior,
luce dona alle menti,
pace infondi nei cuor.

Stille Nacht

E la versione originale in tedesco "Stille Nacht":

Stille Nacht! Heilige Nacht!
Alles schläft; einsam wacht
Nur das traute hochheilige Paar.
Holder Knab´ im lockigen Haar,
Schlafe in himmlischer Ruh!
Schlafe in himmlischer Ruh!

Stille Nacht! Heilige Nacht!
Gottes Sohn! O wie lacht
Lieb´ aus deinem göttlichen Mund,
Da uns schlägt die rettende Stund´,
Jesus in deiner Geburt!
Jesus in deiner Geburt!

Stille Nacht! Heilige Nacht!
Die der Welt Heil gebracht,
Aus des Himmels goldenen Höhn
Uns der Gnaden Fülle läßt seh´n
Jesum in Menschengestalt,
Jesum in Menschengestalt

Stille Nacht! Heilige Nacht!
Wo sich heut' alle Macht
Väterlicher Liebe ergoss
Und als Bruder huldvoll umschloss
Jesus die Völker der Welt,
Jesus die Völker der Welt.

Stille Nacht! Heilige Nacht!
Lange schon uns bedacht,
Als der Herr vom Grimme befreit,
In der Väter urgrauer Zeit
Aller Welt Schonung verhieß,
Aller Welt Schonung verhieß.

Stille Nacht! Heilige Nacht!
Hirten erst kundgemacht
Durch der Engel Alleluja.
Tönt es laut bei Ferne und Nah:
Jesus, der Retter ist da!
Jesus, der Retter ist da!

Bianco Natale

Col bianco tuo candor, neve
sai dar la gioia ad ogni cuor,
è Natale ancora
la grande festa
che sa tutti conquistar.
Un canto vien dal ciel, lento
che con la neve dona a noi
un Natale pieno d'amor
un Natale di felicità.
Tu, neve scendi ancor lenta
per dare gioia ad ogni cuor,
alza gli occhi
e guarda lassù,
è Natale non soffrire più.

Quel lieve tuo candor, neve
discende lieto nel mio cuor ...

Tu, dici nel cader neve
il cielo devi ringraziar,
alza gli occhi
e guarda lassù,
è Natale non soffrire più.

White Christmas

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the tree tops glisten
And children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow, the snow
Said, I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days, may your days, may your days
Be merry and bright
And may all your Christmas' be white
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the tree tops glisten
And children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow, oh
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days, may your days, may your days
Be merry and bright
And may all your Christmas' be white
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmas' be white

Piva piva

Piva, piva
l'oli d'oliva
piva, piva
l'oli d'olà.

Piva, piva
l'oli d'oliva
l'oli fresch
de vong el gozz.

L'è 'l Bambin
che porta i belèe,
l'è la mamamma
che spend i danèn.

Fa la nanna,
bel Babin
Re divin,
Re divin.

Dashing through the snow
in a one-horse open sleigh,
over the fields we go, laughing all the way.
Bells on bobtail ring, making spirits bright
What fun it is to ride and sing a sleighing song tonight.
Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way.
O, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh.
Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way.
O, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh.
A day or two ago I thought I'd take a ride,
and soon Miss Fannie Bright was seated by my side.
The horse was lean and lank, misfortune seemed his lot,
he got into a drifted bank and we, we got upsot.
Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way.
O, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh.
Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way.
O, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh.
Now the ground is white, go it while you're young,
Take the girls tonight and sing this sleighing song.
Just get a bobtailed bay, two-forty for his speed,
Then hitch him to an open sleigh, and crack! You'll take the lead.

Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way.
O, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh.
Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way.
O, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh.

Jingle bell rock

Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock
Jingle bells swing and jingle bells ring
Snowing and blowing up bushels of fun
Now the jingle hop has begun

Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock
Jingle bells chime in jingle bell time
Dancing and prancing in Jingle Bell Square
In the frosty air.

What a bright time, it's the right time
To rock the night away

Jingle bell time is a swell time
To go gliding in a one-horse sleigh
Giddy-up jingle horse, pick up your feet
Jingle around the clock

Mix and a-mingle in the jingling feet
That's the jingle bell,
That's the jingle bell,
That's the jingle bell rock

We wish you a merry Christmas

We Wish You a Merry Christmas è un tradizionale canto natalizio creato nel 1501 dall'Ovest dell'Inghilterra.

Good tidings we bring
To you and your kin;
Good tidings for Christmas
And a happy New Year!

We wish you a Merry Christmas
We wish you a Merry Christmas
We wish you a Merry Christmas
And a happy New Year.

Bring us pudding
Bring us pudding
Bring us pudding
And a cup of good cheer

We won't go 'til we get some
We won't go 'til we get some
We won't go until we get some
So bring it out here!

We wish you a Merry Christmas
We wish you a Merry Christmas
We wish you a Merry Christmas
And a happy New Year
And a happy New Year

We wish you a Merry Christmas
We wish you a Merry Christmas
We wish you a Merry Christmas
And a happy New Year.

Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas

Good tidings we bring
To you and your kin;
Good tidings for Christmas
And a happy New Year!

We wish you a Merry Christmas
We wish you a Merry Christmas
We wish you a Merry Christmas
And a happy New Year

Good tidings we bring
To you and your kin;
And a happy New Year!

Santa Claus is coming to town

Santa Claus Is Coming to Town (o anche Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town) è una tradizionale canzone natalizia statunitense composta nel 1932 da Haven Gillespie (testo) e J. Fred Coots (musica) e cantata per la prima volta in occasione del Giorno del Ringraziamento del 1934 da Eddie Cantor in una trasmissione radiofonica.

I just came back from a lovely trip along the Milky Way
Stopped off at the North Pole to spend a holiday
I called on dear old Santa Claus
To see what I could see
He took me to his workshop
And told his plans to me, so
[Chorus]
You better watch out, you better not cry
Better not pout, I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is comin' to town
He's making a list and checking it twice
Gonna find out who's naughty and nice
Santa Claus is comin' to town
He sees you when you're sleepin'
He knows when you're a wake
He knows if you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake
Oh! You better watch out, you better not cry
Better not pout, I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is comin' to town
With little tin horns and little toy drums
Rooty toot toots and rummy tum tums
Santa Claus is comin' to town
And curly head dolls that toddle and coo
Elephants, boats, and kiddie cars too
Santa Claus is comin' to town
Then kids in Girl and Boy land will have a jubilee
They're gonna build a Toyland all around the Christmas tree
So! You better watch out, you better not cry
Better not pout, I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is comin' to town
Now Santa is a busy man, He has no time to play
He's got millions of stockings to fill on Christmas day
You'd better write your letter now
And mail it right away
Because he's getting ready
His reindeer's and his sleigh.

So
[Chorus]
With little tin horns and little toy drums
Rooty toot toots and rummy tum tums
Santa Claus is comin' to town
And curly head dolls that toddle and coo
Elephants, boats, and kiddie cars too
Santa Claus is comin' to town
Then kids in Girl and Boy land will have a jubilee
They're gonna build a Toyland all around the Christmas tree
So! You better watch out, you better not cry
Better not pout, I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is comin' to town

Rudolph the red nose reindeer

Rudolph the red nose reindeer

Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer
had a very shiny nose
and if you ever saw it
you would even say it glows
all of the other reindeer
used to laugh and call him names
they never let poor Rudolph
join in any reindeer games
then one foggy Christmas eve
Santa came to say:
"Rudolph with your nose so bright
won't you guide my sleigh tonight?"
then how the reindeer loved him
as they shouted out with glee (yippee)
"Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer
you'll go down in history."

join in any reindeer games

Let it snow

Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

Oh, the weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
And since we've no place to go
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
Man it doesn't show signs of stoppin'
And I brought some corn for poppin'
The lights are turned way down low
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
When we finally kiss good-night
How I'll hate going out in the storm
But if you really hold me tight
All the way home I'll be warm
And the fire is slowly dying
And, my dear, we're still good-bye-ing
But as long as you love me so
Let it snow, let it snow, and snow
When we finally kiss good-night
How I'll hate going out in the storm
But if you really grab me tight
All the way home I'll be warm
Oh the fire is slowly dying
And, my dear, we're still good-bye-ing
But as long as you love me so
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

'Round yon virgin Mother and Child
Holy infant so tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace
Sleep in heavenly peace
Silent night
Holy night
Son of God
Oh love's pure light
Radiant beams from
Thy holy face
With the dawn of redeeming grace
Jesus Lord at Thy birth
Oh Jesus Lord at Thy birth...
Sleep

Peace

Frosty the Snow Man

Frosty the Snowman
Was a jolly happy soul
With a corncob pipe and a button nose
And two eyes made out of coal
Frosty the Snowman
Is a fairytale they say
He was made of snow
But the children know
How he came to life one day
There must have been some magic
In that old silk hat they found
For when they placed it on his head
He began to dance around
Frosty the Snowman
Was alive as he could be
And the children say
He could laugh and play
Just the same as you and me
Frosty the Snowman
Knew the sun was hot that day
So he said let's run
And we'll have some fun
Now before I melt away
Down to the village
With a broomstick in his hand
Running here and there all around the square
Saying catch me if you can
He led them down the streets of town
Right to the traffic cop
And he only paused a moment when
He heard him holler stop
Frosty the Snowman
Had to hurry on his way
But he waved goodbye
Saying don't you cry
I'll be back again some day
Thumpety thump thump
Thumpety thump thump
Look at Frosty go
Thumpety thump thump
Thumpety thump thump
Over the hills of snow

O holy night

O holy night, the stars are brightly shining
It is the night of our dear Savior's birth
Long lay the world, in sin and error pining
'Til He appeared and the soul felt its worth
A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks, a new and glorious morn
Fall on your knees
O hear the angels' voices
O night divine
O night when Christ was born
O night divine
O night
O night divine
A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks, a new and glorious morn
Fall on your knees
O hear the angels' voices
O night divine
O night when Christ was born
O night divine
O night divine (O night divine)
Ooh, yes it was (O night divine)
Yeah, that is that night of our dear Savior's birth
(O night divine) oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah, yeah, yeah
(O night divine) it was a holy, holy, holy, oh, oh, oh
(O night divine) yes, it was

So this is Christmas
and what have you done another year over
a new one just begun
and so this Xmas
I hope you have fun
the near and the dear one
the old and the young.
A merry merry Christmas
and happy New Year
let's hope it's a good one
without any fear.

And, so this is Christmas (war is over)
for weak and for strong (if you want it)
for rich and the poor ones(War is over now)
the road is so long
and so happy Christmas
for black and for white
for the yellow and red ones
let's stop all the fight.
A merry merry Christmas
and happy New Year
let's hope it's a good one
without any fear.
And, so this is Christmas
and what have we done
another year over
a new one just begun
and, so happy Christmas
we hope we have fun
the near and the dear one
the old and the young.
A merry merry Christmas
and happy New Year
let's hope it's a good one
without any fear.
(War is over if you Want it war is over now)

Le canzoni natalizie in latino

Adeste, fideles

Adeste, fideles,
Laeti triumphantes,
Venite, venite in Bethlehem!
Natum videte,
Regem angelorum

Venite, adoremus!
Venite, adoremus!
Venite, adoramus Dominum!
Venite, adoramus Dominum!

En grege relicto
Humiles ad cunas,
Vocati pastores adproperant,
Et nos ovanti,
Gradu festinemus.

Venite, adoremus!
Venite, adoremus!
Venite, adoramus Dominum!
Adeste, fideles,
Laeti triumphantes,
Venite, venite in Bethlehem!
Natum videte,
Regem angelorum.

Venite, adoremus!
Venite, adoremus!
Venite, adoramus Dominum!

A Natale puoi

A Natale puoi
fare quello che non puoi fare mai:
riprendere a giocare,
riprendere a sognare,
riprendere quel tempo

a Natale puoi.

A Natale puoi

a Natale puoi.
a Natale puoi.

Luce blu,

A Natale puoi.

A Natale puoi…
puoi fidarti di più.

A Natale puoi.

È Natale in ogni cuore...
Din don dan

Din don dan
Che felicità!
Oggi è nato il buon Gesù
Tra la neve che vien giù.

La renna al Polo Nord
Scampanellando va,
Le strenne porterà
A tutti i bimbi buoni.

E dalle Alpi al mar
I bimbi di quaggiù

Aspettano quei doni
Che regala il buon Gesù.

Din don dan
Din don dan
Din don din don dan
II Natale cambierà:
Tutti buoni renderà... HEI!

Din don dan
Din don dan
Che felicità!
Oggi è nato il buon Gesù
Tra la neve che vien giù!

Din don dan
Din don dan
Din don din don dan
II Natale cambierà:
Tutti buoni renderà... HEI!

Din don dan
Din don dan
Che felicità!
Oggi è nato il buon Gesù
Tra la neve che vien giù.

La neve che vien giù
Che felicità!

Auguriamoci Buon Natale

stringendoci le mani

fuori nevica ma nel cuor

c'è una calda atmosfera

d'amor.

Quando scende dal ciel

la neve

nel giorno di Natale

lascia lascia che venga giù

è un tappeto per Bimbo Gesù.

E' un tappeto che scende dal ciel

come scende dal cielo il Signor

è una neve speciale lo sai?

E' una neve speciale perché:

mentre gli angeli dall'alto

la spargon sulla terra

piano pianino la luce del sol

la trasforma in coriandoli d'or!

È una neve speciale perché:

sfarfallando cade la neve sui Magi e sui pastori

lascia lascia che venga giù

è un tappeto per Bimbo Gesù.

Buon Natale in allegria!

Buon Natale in allegria!
Buon Natale in compagnia!
Tanta gioia, tanta pace
Scenda dentro i vostri cuor.

Buon Natale con il torrone!
Buon Natale col panettone!
Su, brindiamo! Festeggiamo!
Questo è il giorno di Gesù!

Lero-lero, lo zampognaro...
Lero-lero, suona così.
Lero-lero, inno sincero
Che a Natale canta
II mondo intero.

Buon Natale in allegria!
Buon Natale in compagnia!
Per i bimbi, per i grandi,
Per le mamme ed i papà:
Tanta buona volontà!

"Jingle bells! Jingle bells!

Jingle all the way..."
Oggi a Londra suoneran.

"Tu scendi dalle stelle..."
Gli italiani canteran.

"Stille nacht! Heilige nacht!
Alles schlaft, einsam wacht..."
In Germania canteran!

"I'm dreaming of a White
Christmas..."
Da New York ci giungerà!

Buon Natale in allegria!
Buon Natale in compagnia!
Per i bimbi, per i grandi,
Per le mamme ed i papà:
Tanta buona volontà!

Buon Natale!
